Solifacet (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit solifacet.com and interact with our marketplace services (the “Service”).

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect personal information that you voluntarily submit, including:

• Contact information: Name and email address when you contact us or submit an inquiry.
• Inquiry data: The content of messages sent through email or other communication channels.
• Seller application information: Business name, background, and portfolio details submitted by prospective sellers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Service, certain technical data is collected automatically:

• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and session duration.
• Cloudflare data: As the Service is delivered through Cloudflare, Cloudflare may collect certain connection and security data as part of its CDN and DDoS protection services.

3. Purpose of Processing

We use your information for the following purposes:

• Responding to your inquiries and communications;
• Processing seller applications;
• Facilitating transactions through the marketplace;
• Improving the Service and user experience;
• Ensuring the security and integrity of the platform;
• Complying with legal obligations.

4. Service Providers and Data Processors

We use the following third-party services in the operation of the Service:

• Cloudflare: Hosting, CDN, and security services. Cloudflare receives connection data (IP address, request headers, TLS information) as part of delivering and protecting the site.
• Softr: The marketplace catalog is hosted on Softr (solifacet.softr.app). When you browse the catalog, Softr receives standard web request data. Softr’s own privacy policy governs data collected on their platform.
• Google (Gmail): Email inquiries sent to solifacet@gmail.com are processed through Google’s Gmail service. Google receives the content and metadata of emails you send to us.
• Stripe: Payment processing for marketplace transactions. When you complete a purchase, Stripe receives payment details (card information, billing address, transaction amount) necessary to process the payment. Solifacet does not store full card details.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and our contractual agreements. We only share the minimum data necessary for each provider to perform its function.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

• Inquiry and contact data: Retained for 24 months from the date of your last communication, then deleted unless required for an ongoing transaction or legal obligation.
• Transaction records: Retained for the duration required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years).
• Seller application data: Retained for the duration of the seller relationship plus 12 months. Declined applications are deleted after 12 months.
• Server logs and technical data: Retained by Cloudflare per their data retention policies, typically no longer than one month for request logs.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. All web traffic is encrypted via TLS. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your information. We do not sell your personal data.

To exercise any privacy rights, send a request to solifacet@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request.” Include your name and a description of the right you wish to exercise. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond substantively within one month. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension and the reason.

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
